weekend escapism

I need a vacation. Somewhere warm and sandy and with a huge fruity drink being refilled every half hour.

Instead, this lazy weekend, I buried myself in The Godfather, Amelie, and an Audrey Hepburn biography.

I haven't really felt much like doing anything lately. I hope this doesn't last long. I've got a job to find. I have a 2nd interview at Gibb Smith Publishing Thursday afternoon, and I'm playing some phone tag with a promising company in south SLC for a marketing coordinator position that would be great... except for the 2-3 hour commute time I'd put in each day.

I wonder if I could make it on freelancing and waitressing...
