catch up

Sweet cracker sandwich, it's been about a month since I was able to update this blog. But GREAT news. I have the internet again. At my house! We are no longer cavemen. I think it's going to change my life.

Anyway, real quick: the updates.

I got a job. It's up on Hill Air Force Base, writing documentation for fighter jet software for a contracted company. Seriously. At least I think that's what it is- my second week is over and I've yet to be trained on anything because they don't have much to do. Anyway, a few things I didn't expect: no IPOD or cell phone in the building, no instant message, no personal email, blogs, message boards, streaming media, ect ect ect, but also no work, apparently. It's a strange, strange world.

With my new-found time (oh yeah, the one perk of my job is I do actually work normal hours. I couldn't work over 40 hours if I wanted to) I have started Operation: Get Hot 3.0. This involves going back to the gym, eating less junk food, occasionally going tanning, and more or less reversing the "letting myself go" thing that happened in the last 2 years of marriage/ working my ass off at work.

Also with my new-found time I'm crafting again! I'll post later on that. It's nice to have gotten back to scrapbooking, sewing, and general craftyness. I am feeling like myself again.
