I thought both were perfect for a summery outdoor wedding, but could transition into fall nicely, the dress with some layers, of course. Thoughts?

wedding season
Wedding season is slowly dwindling, but I've got one more in August for my lovely cousin Amanda. I was surfing around the internet trying to find something to buy to wear for the event. Reno in August= hot hot hot, but I have a hard time justifying the purchase of something super-summery at the end of the season unless I find a killer deal.
