It's spring cleaning weekend at mi casa. Here's what I'm up to {I can party}.
Today:
- Take everything out of the fridge, clean the shelves, and re-stock in an organized fashion. Get rid of anything expired, and make a list of what I need to stock up on. Same with the pantry. {I do this one monthly}. DONE!
- Down the outside of my kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, and baseboards throughout the house. DONE!
- Sweep and mop the hard surface floors, vaccuum the carpets, wash all the rugs in the house. DONE!
- Wipe down the walls in the high-traffic areas. {I'm just not ambitious enough to do this throughout the entire house}. DONE!
- Wash the windows on the inside, dust the blinds, clean the sills and tracks. DONE!
- Scrub the sinks, tubs, toilets, and counters in the bathrooms.
- Empty the recycling and sweep out the garage.
- Vacuum car, the hit the car wash {again, too lazy to do this myself in the driveway}.
- Change out the bedding for summer stuff. Time to retire the electric blanket and flannel sheets for good {even if I have to pile on other blankets for a while}. Wash pillows. DONE!
- Catch up on ironing {while I watch Gossip Girl Season 1}.
- Treat the leather couches. DONE!
- Power wash the outside of the house and clean the windows and screens.
- Round up everything for a garage sale we are helping my family out with... decide what I should just donate to Goodwill now.
- Purge toiletry items and wipe out cabinets.
- Wash and put away all the winter gear for the season.

I do the same thing while ironing - pop on a show and just do it! I need to do the rest of my spring cleaning though...
Man..I wish I had your ambition. I need to get my spring cleaning done. Your blog is an inspiration...thanks!
Tash, you have a pretty good excuse... ;)
awesome list, i am amazed at all that you do! what do you use to wipe down your walls? i've tried everything and they still seem gross. alas, i rent so my options to cover it up are limited.
